For agents

What is ShowingTour?

A tour-planning tool for real estate agents. You add the homes, ShowingTour puts them in a smart driving order, estimates the drive times, and gives you one link to share with your buyer. Your buyer opens it on their phone, navigates from home to home with GPS, and sends back what they thought of each one.

How do I create and share a tour?

Tap Create Tour, add your buyer's name, and add each home's address: start typing and pick the right suggestion. Set the date and start time, then tap Share with Buyer and send your buyer the link. The link opens in their browser: nothing to install, and no account needed on their end.

How does the buyer link work?

The link opens the tour with the homes in order. Your buyer taps Navigate to start GPS directions in their maps app, marks what they think of each home, picks a top pick, and can add notes and photos. When they send their report, you see all of it on your side.

How do I sign in, and what if sign-in fails?

Agents sign in with Google. If you see a message that sign-in didn't finish: try once more, check that your browser is not blocking popups, and make sure you are using the Google account you want for ShowingTour. If it still fails, close the page and open it again, or email support and we will help you sort it out.

How do I turn on phone alerts?

In the app, tap Turn on phone alerts, and allow notifications when your phone asks. You will then get an alert when a buyer sends their report, finishes the tour, or adds a home. Your recent activity is always listed in your profile menu, under Notifications.

What are Private Notes?

Private Notes are notes on a tour that only you can see. Your buyer never sees them. They are handy for lockbox and gate codes, and for your own reminders about a home.

What does ShowingTour cost?

Buyers are always free. Agent accounts are free during early access. Pro is coming soon, at $14.99/month or $119/year, with a 14-day free trial and a $9.99/month founding rate for early agents. Pro is not on sale yet, and we will always tell you before anything is charged.

How do I delete my account?

Tap your profile circle in the top right corner of the app, then Delete my account at the bottom of the menu, and confirm. That removes your account and your saved tours. You can also email support and we will delete it for you.

For buyers

What is the link my agent sent me?

It is a custom showing tour your agent made for you: the homes you will see together, in order. Open it on your phone. You do not need an account, and there is nothing to install.

How do I get directions to each home?

Tap the Navigate button and allow location access when your phone asks. Your maps app will guide you from home to home, in the tour's order.

How do I tell my agent what I thought?

On each home, tap the option that matches how you feel about it, mark your favorite with the star as your top pick, and add notes or photos if you like. At the end, send your report and your agent will see everything.

Do I need an account?

No. The tour works from the link alone. If you want to keep your tours and find them later, you can sign in with Google and they will be waiting under Saved Tours. If sign-in does not go through, just try again, or keep using the link.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. ShowingTour is always free for buyers.

How do I delete my buyer account?

Tap your profile circle, then Delete my account, and confirm. If you never created an account, there is nothing to delete.

Troubleshooting

Address suggestions are slow, or a home does not appear

Suggestions come from an online map service, so they need a connection, and they can take a couple of seconds. Keep typing the full address, including the city and state. If a home still does not come up, check the spelling, or add it and confirm its spot on the map before the tour.

Changing a tour's date or time

Open the tour, tap the date (or the time), and pick the new one. Changes save on their own, and you can clear a date the same way. If a change does not save, the app will tell you: check your connection and try once more.

How does the mileage log work?

The log counts the planned miles of the route itself. It never tracks you by GPS. Miles are added per home, as your buyer marks each home done. You can review the log in the app, and clear it with Reset log.

The tour looks out of date on my phone

Refresh the page. Whenever you have a connection, the app fetches the newest copy of the tour each time it opens.

Your privacy

ShowingTour stores your tours, and the feedback and photos buyers send on them, so the app can do its job. We do not sell personal information. For any question about your data, or to have it deleted, email [email protected]. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
